Astraea US Fund Panel Grants: Accepting Applications (September 30, 2008) Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice is accepting applications for its 2008-09 US Fund Panel. The deadline is December 1. Racial Equity ‘Report Card’ Examines LGBTQ Grantmakers as Part of a Broader Dialogue on Philanthropy and Widespread Equity [NEW YORK] (July 7, 2008) Funders for Lesbian and Gay Issues releases a “report card” detailing how 19 LGBTQ grantmakers integrate racial equity into their grantmaking and internal operations. Chronicle of Philanthropy: Racial Equity & Grant Making to Gay Causes [WASHINGTON, DC] (May 4, 2008) While foundations that support gay causes have significantly increased their giving to charities led by minorities over the last five years, not all such grant makers make racial equity a priority, according to a new report by Funders for Lesbian and Gay Issues. |
