Join us for two funders only symposiums on Asian American, Pacific Islander (AAPI) and Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian (AMEMSA) Boys and Men of Color to coincide with the release of AAPIP's report, Widening the Lens on Boys and Men of Color: California AAPI and AMEMSA Perspectives. Each daylong symposium—one in Oakland and the other in Los Angeles—will provide funders with an opportunity to engage, learn, and share with each other on various strategies and issues including Immigration, Criminal Justice, and Education that affect boys and men of color in California. Participants will also learn more about AAPI Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer communities within the broader framework of Boys and Men of Color initiatives. The report and symposium is made possible by The California Endowment and is co-sponsored by the Association of Black Foundation Executives, Funders for LGBTQ Issues, Hispanics in Philanthropy, Native Americans in Philanthropy, and the Women’s Funding Network.
