Organizer(s): Funders for LGBTQ Issues
August 19, 2013

44 W 28th Street
New York, NY 10001
Join us on for a lunch discussion and preview of the upcoming Funders for LGBTQ Issues report, "Beyond Queer, Beyond Undocumented: Intersections of Race, Status, and Sexuality." This report seeks to unpack the complexities of the queer undocumented experience, looking at immigration, education, and health. It examines the state of LGBTQ immigration funding, activism, and nonprofits, highlighting both gaps and opportunities for funders beyond the current legislative debate on comprehensive immigration reform.
This luncheon will hopefully provide us with unique perspectives on this intersection and help to shape the final report, which will be released this fall.
This event is invite only. If you're interested in attending, please contact Immigrant Rights Intern Danilo Machado at firstname.lastname@example.org.
