Pennsylvania has a vibrant lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and the state has become a key front in achieving LGBTQ equality.

Please join Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia and Funders for LGBTQ Issues for this important conversation on grantmaking for LGBTQ communities.

Ben Francisco Maulbeck, President of Funders for LGBTQ Issues will share an overview and analysis of the landscape of LGBTQ funding nationally and in Pennsylvania. Local service providers and leading funders of LGBTQ issues will share their perspectives on the state of the LGBTQ moment in Pennsylvania and how to best address key challenges facing LGBTQ communities, including homeless youth, transgender individuals, and senior populations. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore how they already integrate support for the LGBTQ community into their current work and how they can ensure they are addressing the unique needs of LGBTQ communities going forward.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Richard Burns, Consultant, Arcus LGBT Leadership Initiative
  • Annette Duranso, President, Valley Youth House
