Please join Southern California Grantmakers, Funders for LGBTQ Issues, Gill Foundation, and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors for a timely conversation about LGBTQ philanthropy and how donors can continue to contribute to the movement.

After the monumental win for marriage equality, philanthropists and foundations interested in LGBTQ issues are at an inflection point.

In this interactive conversation, we'll discuss a variety of issues related to the impact of this win on the greater movement, and how donors can continue to support its work.

Moderated by Mitch Singer, Director at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, this panel will feature national leaders and thinkers in philanthropy:

  • Brad Clark, Vice President of Partnerships, Gill Foundation
  • Ange-Marie Hancock, CEO, RISIST (Research Institute for the Study of Intersectionality & Social Transformation) and Associate Professor of Political Science & Gender Studies, USC
  • Ben Francisco Maulbeck, President, Funders for LGBTQ Issues We will hear about major initiatives underway across the nation and what donors are prioritizing today to make sure that this policy win improves the lived experience of all LGBTQ communities.
And finally, we will discuss how other movements can learn from this victory, and what the LGBTQ community can learn from other movements.

This event is for grantmakers only.
